What are the benefits of linking my bank account?
There are plenty of pros that come with having your UK bank account linked to your Monese app. First, youâll have everything in one place making it easier to manage and view all your balances and accounts straight from your Monese app. This, in turn, will make it smoother to create budgets for yourself as youâll have a more holistic view of all your money. At a glance, youâll be able to decipher how much you can afford to spend or save. Rest assured that linking your bank accounts is secure and your data stays protected with bank-level security.
How do I link a bank account?
Linking one, two or more UK bank accounts is very simple and can be done with a few simple taps:
- Step 1: Open your app and tap on the dropdown accounts list (above your balance).
- Step 2: Select âLink a bank accountâ to connect your accounts.
- Step 3: Tap on âContinueâ and weâll prompt you to select your UK bank.
- Step 4: Log into your bank and select the account(s) youâd like to link.
- Step 5: Tap âAuthoriseâ to give us access.
Thatâs it! Youâll have successfully linked your bank to your Monese app. Your new linked bank account will be visible under the accounts dropdown list. Youâll need to reauthenticate your linked account every 90 days to keep it linked and visible in the app but donât worry â weâll remind you. You can also cancel any linked accounts to remove them from your app at any time.
